parrot feather

Just a note, I would think very carefully about distributing this invasive plant, take a look on the internet, its movement/deliberate distribution is strictly controlled...

Sorry what? i canot access the link you have giving, i have had no problems with the plant

looks at images of the parrot feather and it doesnt looks the same to be honest. its more bushy and the leaves are more fine and different shade of green...

whats so bad about parrot feather anyways

Its highly invasive, can survive and overwinter in UK waterways, clogs lakes/ponds/canals, destroying/irreversibly altering ecosystems... the usual long list of bad things, hence the legislation to prevent its movement.

Do you have a picture? I can help you identify it.

It would be very helpful if there were sticky thread at the top of this section depicting and providing info about invasive plants in the aquarium/pond trade. (I'd happily construct it).
