In east, why goldfish is popular is because of their meaning.

e.g the first fish, is very common and popular fish, it can be called "hong yun dang tou" basic means, the fish was hit by luck on the head. because it has white body and red hat. red is a colour represents luck in east culture.


the second fish is a common ranchu, in chinese called "shou xin" which means longevity, long life. thus the fish will bring healthy to your life. and it's color is red, which means luck as mentioned b4.

i have 2 oranda there all so cute i have 1 orange red an white 1 an 2 red an white 1s(redcap) but the best part is that there all young so i can see there wen growing right from the start lol

I have a freak of a goldfish lol

It's like a black moor, but bright orange. I don't know what breed it is to be honest. All i know is my friends have nicknamed it 'scary mary'

It's fearless too, some fish will swim away from a hand in the tank or whatever, but she comes and attacks!!

I love my orandas! The have such pretty fin and the head growth gives them such a cute face. Can't wait for a bigger goldfish tank so I can add a couple more.

I'm lucky enough to live in the US where finding these guys is easy!
