I have a few questions about Current USA Satellite fixtures (aquarium lighting), if anyone in here is familiar with them. The one I am interested in is 48" long and has two 65W compact fluorescent lamps. I know that this fixture comes with a splash guard, so my question is: is that splash guard removable, or is it permanently attached to the fixture?
Another question: Current USA Satellites (48") use SunPaq compact fluorescent lamps that are 21.25" long. I want to use Coralife lamps in that fixture but have read that Coralife compact fluorescent lamps (ones that I am interested in) are 22" long. Will, in that case, Coralife lamps fit the Current USA Satellite fixture?
If anybody has experience with the above matters, please let me know the answers to my questions. I'd really appreciate any help, and thanks up front.
