Cucumber?

its taking my fish 5-6 days to eat the cucumber is it ok to leave the cucumber in this long or will it start to effect mt perameters as it decays?

put in a smaller amount and dont leave longer than 36 hours then it wont start to rot and mess up your tank

I personally wouldnt leave it in any longer than 18 or so hours, put in at night with lights out... take out next morning or midday. Cucumber has a horrible tendancy to cloud water and make it smell

I leave mine in over night out in the morning then a frsh bit again in the night

always leave mine 36 hours with no probs but mine is mostly gone in 12 as i only do thin slices and remove the skin
