Why do most loaches and bottem dwellers love cucumber ?

I sunk some for my plec for the very first time last night - they didn't get a look-in. The Discus nabbed the lot

I've stuck some banana in today.

I remember snorkling & scuba diving and feeding the fish banana - they loved it!

My fish haven't really gone for the banana. They picked at it a bit, and the BN plec seemed to like it. But there was a bit left in the morning.

Still, its mostly been eaten, and it can't hurt.



Suppose the fish I was hand-feeding in the ocean were about a foot long!!
