Cucumber Turned My Water Cloudy. Is It Safe?

I popped a big bit of cucumber in for my apple snails last night, they've been eating it all night but now my water is very cloudy. Is it safe to leave it like this? I've taken the cucumber out.

I'm not too sure, but a water change wont do any harm

I did the same thing 2 days ago with cucumber and the water went slightly cloudy, a little water change does the trick and the fish divoured the cucumber

I've done a water change but it's still really cloudy

try using courgette instead of cucumber, it seems to hold together longer.

do an 80% water change

There isn't much nutrition in cucumber.
I use courgette for my Oto's & it doesn't cloud the water, even when left in for a couple of days

yeah mine does that too think i will get courgette from the comments above
