Cucumber Treat

From advice that I got from here, I've now decided to also supplement my Plecos with a cucumber treat.....

How do I present it to them.... Mine floats and the Plecos are at the bottom and do they eat everything....i.e.. no residue that I have to remove after a while

in one of my tanks, where the plec would not go to the top and stick on the floating cucumber, i would weight it down with the lead safe lead, that would sink it to the bottom.

However, in my other tank, I would just slice up the cucumber circa 1" or 1.5" think and just let it float, the fish and plecs would find it and stick on it for a while

I use stainless steel screws from the hardware store.
