These are both synodontis is it ok to keep them together or is it best to have one or the other? Have 3 petricolas fancy 2 cuckoos? Cheers guys

I thought the common name of Synodontis petricola is the Cuckoo Catfish?
Due to the fact that they lay their eggs near breeding cichlids which take them up in their mouths, and rear the young as their own.

A lot of the ones in the trade at the moment, aren't the true type, but are hybrids.

I got the following from aqua hobby.com:

Upside-Down Catfish (Synodontis nigriventris)
Cuckoo Squeaker/Syno (Synodontis multipunctatus)
Even-Spotted Squeaker/Syno (Synodontis petricola)
Featherfin Squeaker/Syno (Synodontis eupterus)
Decorated Squeaker/Syno (Synodontis decorus)

It was the multipunctatus I was asking about :) I ended up getting 3 of those on sat to go with the 3 petricolas. Very similar with different markings. The petricolas may be the dwarf version Lucipinnis I think they are called too small to tell really.

I could of had some wild caught petricolas but my tank would have been too small eventually. Both are very similar just the marlins are different. Look very nice the cuckoo and petricola I'll try and get some pics of them later and add to my fish section :)
