ct/dt plakat?

It could be that or it could be that Plakats havent been linebred and hybridized to the point that those Variants show up. Who knows when they Rape and Pillage the Plakats genes like they did with splendens they may find a gene that doesnt show up in splendens.

iv seen ct plakats, i do think the shortail gean is more dominate so ur not gunna c very many ct plakats. they'er relly pretty fish. wat i havn't seen is a female plakat, i dont know y 
i remember cocker showing us his short crowntail plakat...
you have to remember that all the ct/dt etc. evolved from the wildtype splendens. in most types of animals, the wildtype is dominant to almost all mutations, but that doesn't hold true to bettas. the mutation of long fins is dominant to the wildtype short fin state. the reason wild bettas don't all have long fins is because the extra finnage slows the fish down and makes it easy prey and an inefficient fighter. in nature, long finned bettas don't survive for the same reason albinos don't survive to pass on their genes - they're a quick lunch. doubletail is a recessive finnage mutation. crowntail (or comb) is considered recessive to normal, whether the fish is long finned or short finned.

there are lots of dt plakats. i think they look kind of funny though
i dont think i have ever seen a ct/dt plakat.

i meant i hadnt seen a dt plakats that also has crowns. i have seen ct plakats.

Haha, you guys made me take a good look at my DT Sandusky! 
He's got ity-bity, teeny-tiny crowns, more like a comb, if that even, but he's not a plakat. A true DT/CT Plakat would be interesting.
