What's the best way to get crystal clear water ? I even purchased something called crystal clear and it hasn't worked. I have a 10g tank I upgraded the filter to a aqueon that supports 30 -50 gallon tanks but to no avail the water still remains cloudy.

What substrate do you have? Do you have driftwood? What are your water parameters? And what kind of fish do you have? My technique to crystal clear water is good stocking and 50% water changes weekly

over filter your tanks, use carbon, low stocking, keep tank clean, regular gravel vacuuming.

I have filter floss in the overkill 50g over the side filter I have the regular aquarium black gravel 7.0ph 1 betta 2 corys and 7 neons.

Have you cleaned the gravel lately, try sticking the end of a gravel vacuum deep into the gravel, and see if it is really dirty, if so I would reccomend doing that continuously for the whole water change time

I would recommend using Tetra Aquasafe 5ml per 10 litres of new tap water, works wonders for my tank and helps protect my fish.

Seachem Purigen, get the 100g in a bag, the stuff works miracles!!! but you need to use it with the purigen prime water conditioner as other water conditioners may make the purigen useless. just be warned that the clear water will show up all the dirt in your tank, thats how good i have found the stuff to be!
