Hi Guys,

I am considering starting up my own tank of Crystal Bee Shrimps. They are £10 each in my lfs but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get hold of some for less but still good quality? I don't mind purchasing them online.

Cheers.

E-bay definately have them. I've never seen them in a shop before. I've seen the crystal reds but NEVER the black ones; I'm assuming it is the black ones you are looking for? Either way e-bay. I bought mine for £1 each from a member on this forum but he no longer keeps them :(

Aww that's a shame. I love seeing where my little guys have grown up. Since my cherries have been doing so well against the betta, I was hoping to get some crystals too but I don't want to spend £10 each if I can help it!

I bought some Black Crystals from the Abyss in Stockport a few months back. Mine are around A / S grade and I paid £4 each for them. I have also seen them in my local MA on more than one occasion, although these were a little more expensive and not quite as high a grade ...

Thanks everyone. Are Abyss online? Stockport is a little far from Wales.

Hehe I had mine in with cherries in with my betta too. Good move lol.

Mine haven't bred enough to sell either; I've had a couple of babies but that is it. Definately try e-bay; Crystal reds might be a better option (although I do prefer the black and white ones).
