well in a few months i will be purchasing some sgrade crs and once they have bred i will be selling the babies at £10-£15 each. i was just wandering how many peeps will be interested so im teasing you for now

I got cherries and need more tanks for CRS!!!! as well as every thing else!

Wasn't really worth putting a topic in the classifieds if you're not selling anything though is it?

I agree with Gaz a few months is a fairly long time, anything could happen till then. By all means I hope they do breed etc. But you never know :good:

Dave I think your on about Red Cherry Shrimp, The Crystal Cherry Shrimp are alot more higher priced. I could be wrong though :good:

Depends on the grade the highest quality can sell for £500+ in Japan and are near completely white. True S grade will sell for around £20 depending what your LFS is like. I would think £7.50 per shrimp and a deal for 10 would be a good pricing structure as your selling via forums which are traditionally much cheaper then shops.

Not to mention "in a few months" is pretty vague and it could be several more months before they might have enough to sell (thats if everything goes to plan).

no my lfs has cherry shrimp for £1 each or 10 for £8, the crs and cbs are £3.75 or 5 for £15, i am aware they are graded and am aware of the prices they go for. It still confuses me as they arent rare or anything, not even difficult to breed! Just all strange to me!

im thinking £10 each and 3for the price of 2 then 10 for the price of 7.
I'm thinking you might want to see how things go just keeping them alive before talking selling prices, considering you have just asked us in another thread what you need to keep them. You dont just get them and in a few weeks suddenly have a huge colony to sell from.

i know that i dont know how many im going too end up with. im just asking who would be interested so that when it comes to the time, i will have a rough idea of how many people will want them.

The problem is you dont know your going to breed them.
I'm getting blue tigers tomorrow but i will not be posting untill i've at least breed them and reared some to a good size.

It just feels like you want to do this for the money reading this.
I've been breeding fish fro over 15 years and have never made money. only covered food.

You should breed fish + inverts, to help there population, and for fun.

Not for money..
