I saw a nice crowntail and was wonderin if i could keep it in a 22 gallon tank with my 4 Dwarf Flag Cichlids and no there not nippy.

Eh... Correct me if Im wrong but if you put any community fish with any type of Cichlid, there could be trouble.
 
Hi Gimli.

I would not suggest it at all. In addition to the fact that you're really not reccomended to put bettas in with any type of Ciclid, bettas are much more content alone. They are a territorial, solitary fish and can be stressed by being in with other fish, especially larger, potentially agressive ones. There is also the possibility of the betta being stressed by the tank size; while they should be fine in 22 gallons, I don't know if your current would be mild enough. Bettas massive fins cause a lot of swimming trouble in strong currents.

In short, I'm sure you boy would be much happier alone. :thumbs:
