Crown Moons?????

Very nice,but I don't know why they're calling them a new species  A new strain maybe,but it's still a splenden. Either way,they're beautiful,much nicer than droopy long CT's.

Looks like a Rosetail was bred to a CT. There is about a half an inch of cello on the caudal, that shows a little more combtail look to it. What is so unusual is the dramatic CT look to the dorsal and anal. Whether they can get them to reproduce is another matter, but I hope they can. They are nice fish.

I have also heard of them being called "halfsuns" -_-

These "crownmoons" from straits aquariums are actually plakat (shortfinned) CT betta splendens.

Halfsuns are crowntail Halfmoons.
