just wondering if you would be able to breed peppermint bn with albino? isit possible?

You can breed all strains of Bristlenose plecs with eachother. If you cross the peppermint with the albino, you may get 20% of the fry albino. Go ahead and do it.

I dread to think what you'd get from that cross....

you would get a mix of...
normal brown x "peppermint"
albino x "pepermints"
depending on the albino genes in the pepermint - you might not get any albinos....

Now for the important question.... Why?

There are different species of BN. This almost by definition means that certain BN will NOT cross breed. Peppermints are a different species from Albino (sp3). I very much doubt that they would cross breed and if they did I would also ask why? If you are asking because you don't want them to breed I would say don't worry.

Mystix212 you are right in that different "Strains" would breed because they are the same species. Albinos (sp3) breed with brown (sp3) breed with longfin (sp3) because they are the same species.

Im not all to familar with cross breeding peppermints anyway. So I wouldnt know much about it.
