Hey, i want to put a critter in my tank

perhaps some kind of shrimpy thing or cray fish. I'vebeen doing a bit of research on it all, but what I've found seems to be a bit contradictory. :S

im going to have mainly catfish, so as they're bottom dwellers i dont want any fighting and laying on an that. I'm going to have barbs and stuff too. not entirely sure, but definately catfish on teh bottom.

My lfs has red crabs....

I just like the way crabs and shrimps go on. they're amusing

any ideas?

I've got a red claw crab in with my catfish. No agression. What type of catfish? U could also try putting wood shrimp.

Can I suggest my favourite bottom feeder? Yo-Yo loaches. You'll never regret having them, and they get on with most, if not all, of their tank-mates. :)

well, I was thinking of a few corys (bronze, pygmy peppered etc) and some plecs. :hey:

Okay. I've got two Peppered Cory's of my own. They're nice little fishes that keep to themselves, so depending on the size of your tank, you will need more than two. They're bottom feeders so you'll need a variety of sinking foods to keep them healthy. My PC's are omnivorous and would tackle anything from cucumber, blood worms to algae wafers.

What's the size of your tank?
