Critter? (Solved!)

Hey, there's nothing wrong with a mutt! Usually healthier than purebreds, and it's always great to rescue!

Mine is a mutt Not strictly speaking a rescue - I bought her from a dodgy backyard breeder I was sent the ad for, and I broke every single rule there is about buying a dog. All of 'em. But I couldn't leave her with those people once I'd seen the photos, and then in person.

They said she was 100% springer spaniel - I could tell she wasn't, but didn't care. Had a DNA test done when she was a few years old just to satisfy my curiosity, and to confirm my question about if she was part border collie, and she is! Mostly English Springer, a big chunk of Border collie, and at least one grandparent was a super mutt apparently. Has bits and pieces of DNA from a pointer, whippet, lab, and others I can't remember off the top of my head, but pretty mutt like overall, and she's wonderful in every way!

She is gorgeous!

And I do agree, mutts are THE BEST...especially rescues!...the affection and loyalty they show is immeasurable

Yours are gorgeous too! Marley has the most expressive terrier face! Love that cheeky grin. You can just tell she's a character!

Oh yeah, she's something else...she was in bad, bad shape when she was brought into the Humane Society shelter, years ago, when she was a pup...the entire team there, and both doctors worked to save her life...she became a mascot, of sorts...when we got her, the staff was ecstatic...she was passed over many, many times

While I agreed with you at first, have you checked out the second video?? It's terrifying! Have to play it at super slow speed to get a proper glimpse of it when it exits the burrow... gah!

I'm not too afraid of animals or insects but the video of that thing is pretty darn freaky. Especially when you play it at the 0.25 speed and really see it

She reminds me of one my favourite breeds, one that I swear I'll have one day, the Border Terrier. Smashing little dogs full of character!

I did search for everything I could think of to find out what it could be and the closest thibg I could find to it is something called a bobbit worm... Those are way more scary. But they are underwater creatures
