I would just like to thank everybody who gave me advice and best wishes in treating ICH in my fry tank. The ICH has been gone for over a week and I haven't lost any more fry. Even the fry covered in ICH managed to pull through, I'm so proud of the little guys . I wish I knew how to use the digital camera  so I could post a picture (they're 3 weeks old now and very cute). Once again, thanks so much! :D

Congrats! My fry have pulled through their bout with ich as well, I lost quite a few but still have approx. 100 or so, so I'm happy, I was going to have to do some serious culling otherwise as I started with 300 plus. Mine are 3 weeks old today too :) What color and finnage are the parents of yours? Mine are red ST, both parents are near HM's, so I'm hoping for some nice kids.

Yes I did lose a few, it was a big spawn, probably nearly 300. I still have over 200 though. :D The male is a purple combtail and the female is blue/purple. I've bred these two before. Their last spawn (accidental) was very small (around 30) and as I wasn't prepared for it I only have 2 of them. The fry from that spawn are just over 2 months old and really starting to colour-up. I don't know how they came out the way they did, but they are a paler purple (almost lilac) and crowntails, so I was hoping for more like these. :D I wish I knew how to use the camera, they're an unusual colour and I was hoping someone more experienced could classify them properly. -_- I thought purple didn't breed true :dunno: Your's sound like they'll be really nice. I'm not so experienced I'm afraid which is probably obvious.
