one of my bettas.. jus noticed today his tail starting to go translucent.. rotting away... i watched him take his last breath today which was very creepy.... really weird feeling watching ur fish take its last breath... poor guy.. i hate petcetera its official... never buying bettas from there again

Aww I'm sorry to hear that. You just have had a horrible string of luck with your bettas. I've seen a couple of my fish die, and several were far from peaceful. It's very hard, you have my best wishes.

it's traumatic whenever something like that happens. your betta is in a better place and i'm sure it's thankful for the time it had with you..if it's any condolance

it was jus so creepy.. i could tell it was its last breath... then it flopped over

no more petcetera bettas... not buying anymore.. but i have like 4 to take back..

so im gonna get 4 more.. they will probably die too.. and ill have to take them back... its brutal... i have an 8 gallon waitin for some females to be conditioned in... i think imma get some from a store that has a better record and hopefully wont gimme tottally messed up fish...

petcetera is baaaaaaad.. no more petcetera fish

Yeah, I know how you feel. I have seen a couple of my fish take their last breath too.

Out of all of the bettas I've bought in the past 3 years I've been keeping them,I've only lost 2 and it is heartbreaking. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Stay away from that awful store.

i found giant bettas today at a good price... $2 canadian..

cheapest place ive seen so far... and the females are huge....like 3x the size of the others i have... they chillin in their tank in the bag now... i got 1 all red, 1 all blue, and one thats white with baby blue fins/tail...

theyre pretty big ... i cant wait till they are conditioned and ready for breeding... even tho i only have 2 males left ... i have 2 dead ones waitin to go back to the store, and i get 1 free male and 1 free female on friday ... hopefully everythin will be ok this time around
