Hi i bought two crayfish and want to know what kind of crayfish it was i am unable to get a picture up but maybe you guys know what type of crayfish are sold commonly in southern new jersey.

Unless the place you bought it found it locally in NJ waters, there is really no way to narrow it down. Many pet stores buy crayfish from many states away for resale. A picture will likely be your only shot at identification. A top down view is the best if you can get one.
