Crayfish Question

It's wiggling and dancing and twisting...is it about to shed?
(ive never seen one shed) he/she is in an well filtered tank,with a log to climb out of the water.Until this it's been doing very well.(have had it for about a month).Thanks!

Not ever keeping them as an aquatic pet, I did some searching online for your answer but came up empty about the wiggling etc part and if that means it's about to shed or not.

The best I could come up with is that young shed about every 10 days and adults 2-3 times a year. This might coincide with how long you've had him? I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help but maybe others that have had them will be around to provide you an answer.

Yea, if you get no replies it might mean it got buried in the other threads and we all might have missed it.
