This question may sound very strange to some people, but I am still in the thinking stage and have no intention to do anything yet. I have just bought two blue lobsters for my tank, i am perfectly happy with them, but i am retricted to having no small fish without the worry of them being masacred!

my question is, are the pincers the only thing that will harm other small fish, and if so, can they be tied up/clamped/removed or disabled in a humane way?

Just stick to fish that stay at the top. If you need to disable your livestock to keep them, they were probably the wrong choice in the first place.

Someone else was asking about this earlier, I don't think you would like to have your hands tied up or cut off! So I don't think you should do it to your crayfish! :)

i think they use their pincers for eating? so i dont think it would work. i was told that crustaceans were best kept as a species tank.
