So I was giving Sori his flaring excercises, and I swear I only left for 10-15 minutes, but when I returned, it seemed as though Sori had .... for lack of a better word, 'cracked' his head. It's not a serious injury, it looks sort of like.... the skin stretched too far and then split, you know? Looks like he has a tiny, pale lightening bolt on his head.

I was going to put him in a salt bath for his finrot issue on the same day that this happened, but my kneejerk reaction to this is to keep salt away from the injury (silly mammal).

Uhn... any suggestions? I should be getting my indian almond leaf in here shortly, I have various teatree oil solutions (bettamax, etc), but I almost feel like I should just put him in clean water and watch him before I add anything.

He's becoming such a difficult child. -_-

Awww, poor baby. He must have quite the headache.

I say go with the clean water until your Indian Almond Leaf comes in. Then, if it's still there, add a little of that to his water.

Actually, every time I look at him now I think of 'Scar' from Full Metal Alchemist. I wish they'd given that man a better name than "Skaru!"

Yeah, I think I will go for the clean-er water and stare treatment. At least until the indian almond leaves arrive.

It's always kinda funny when I stick around to watch him flare, it seems like he can't decide between flaring at the 'intruder', and swimming over to the corner where I'm at and flirting for food. So he attempts both. I guess in retrospect, that's probably why this hasn't happened sooner. This time, I just left him alone to flare and flare and flare, without interruption.
