Crack In Tank

I have just been given a 3ft tank and when cleaning with hot water it cracked!
The crack runs from one side to the other.
Is it fixable with out putting in a new sheet of glass?
Any help would be great. Thanks.

The only way that I would try to fix a crack in the glass without replacing it completely would be to attach another full sheet of glass to the one that is already there. This works well enough to repair a tank bottom but would be unsightly on any other part of the tank.
