Crab Questions

should I change the layout of my red clawed crab tank? it has a few bits of wood sticking out of the water. should I rehaul and put a large beach area for them? I want to keep it looking natural but If I rehaul the knarled piece of bogwood they hide in will have to go. what natural alternatives are there? will a few plastic plants and a pile of small rocks be enough? it would be about half land half water is that ok? should the rocks be in or out of the water?

go with a rockery that covers half the tank and maybe you could add some wood. but half a tank is a must
