i recently spotted a crab. as soon as the lights came on he scurried into his rock.this was last week. today i seen his legs hanging out of his crevice. only three legs i could see though, plus i never actually seen his pinchers so i guess it may not even be a crab. its all white, not bright though, almost like a clear white. very bristly, and hairy. legs look a lot like my emeral crabs legs. i know a positive ID is impossible but i just want possible suggestion and or course of action. i have no corals yet but will someday...

Odd that you say its white. Most of the time furry-legged crabs are teddybear crabs but this may not be the case in your situation. Tough to say more without a pic

i caught him outside his spot last night after the light went out. will try to get a pic tonite or asap. my camera is crap though and i haven't taken a single good pic of the setup. i'll try borrowing one prolly.

googled teddybear crab and that ain't him unless the rest of his fur hasn't grown in yet. been trying to find a pic somewhere else but still nothing.
