Couple Of Simple Questions!

Hi all,

I should be getting my new tank next weekend and starting its fishless cycle [thanks to Sylvia for her links and constant nagging at other newbies to do this way!! ] However, I'm not sure of anywhere in the UK where i can buy the pure ammonia needed for this process, so if anyone in the UK knows, would be helpful!

Also, I have seen a fair few pics on here of tanks that have moonlights. I think the effect is stunning . What exactly is a moonlight? and how do I go about buying/making one?

Some Boots stores do it. I got mine from a small local hardware store.

Glad to see someone noticed If you can't get hold of ammonia (though boots does carry it like DwarfGourami said), you could always just use some fish food as a source of ammonia. Good luck with your tank!
