Couple Of Newbie Questions

I got a pair of Maroon Clowns about 10 days ago - they seem to have settled in nicely but I have noticed that they have black markings on their fins (they didn't have this when I got them) - it looks natural and both the fish have it. they are swming fine and seem in good health - I would post a pic but i am not sure how to do it.

Does this sound normal?


Secondly I found what I thought were the remains of a hermit crab - but have accounted for all the hermits in my tank. Am I correct in assuming that hermits can shed there skin?

yes, hermits and shrimp and such will molt, that's what you are seeing if all are accounted for.

my maroons both have a little bit of black markings on their fins too, have for a long time. nothing seems wrong with them.
