I went to the lfs today and saw that they just got in a bunch of stunning female bettas, aswell as males! Some all ruby red, some with white bodies and ruby red fins and tails, and a couple of pearly teal ones. So i reserved 2 of them until saturday (when their able to be sold) and i already paid. I got one all red, and another with a white body and red fins and tail.
Problem is i dont know how to introduce them to my other female bettas?
I have 3 in a 20g with 6 neon tetras, 5 lemon tetras and 1 gold tetra (the gold was supposed to be a lemon!!)
The three bettas killed another two.. But since being moved to a bigger tank i havent seen them fight one bit, they have calmed down a lot!
So should I take the other three bettas out, and then put all 5 in together at the same time?

Once you get them home, you need to quarantine them for at least a week to make sure they are not going to infect your tank with something.  It is just something that should be done especially when being added to a community.  It is sickening to add new fish and then see the whole community die because of one new fish.  I have had it happen -- hence why I advocate quarantine for 2 weeks myself.  I would suggest after that, you move stuff around in your tank and then add all the girls in together to "set a blank slate" of sorts and then watch for heavy aggression.  Chasing and nipping fins is normal, body bumping is not and should be monitored very closely since it can cause internal injuries.

Ahh ok will do. Do i need to take the tetras out too or only the bettas?

Hi Jessman, do you have a picture of the tank they are going in?  As well as changing it all around to break down territories introducing something new e.g. a new piece of wood can also assist as the original females will be busy setting up new territories, along with the new Bettas, but also be interested in the new item, assisting in reducing aggression.

The tank I have my girls in is very heavily planted with lots of wood, as seen in my current signature.

I agree with WB, I quarantine for 3 weeks.

RCA, sorry I don't have a picture! The pictures from my camera are 'too big' for this I'm afraid! But yes maybe the new things will distract them from the other two, ill try popping to the lps to get things before tomorrow, and ill add them after taking the 3 bettas out of the tank. I'm just hoping their behaviour continues when the new ons are in, as they've been so calm after moving to the bigger tank
