Awwww he's gorgeous! and a bargain!!

It's so tempting to buy those poor Bettas kept in crap conditions but I have to hold myself back all the time lol.

omg! im jealous  he is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!

i feel bad for my other fish but i think he is my new favorite :D

hes awesome! nice bargain for such a nice fish:)
and i know which cups you speak of. theyve been cropping up here and there in my parts. like the old cups werent small enough, right? they
go ahead and make them half the size :(
sadly in the US, it is very ATYPICAL to see bettas in anything except cups. even the good stores house their bettas this way. so if you want a betta, cant really "look elsewhere" as there is nowhere else to look except online. and we cant all afford that much shipping and cost for one fish (most of us anyway).
keep us updated. he so nice!!!
cheers

he's making a bubblenest :)
and much friendlier today. he seemed shy so far. woohoo he is getting settled in :)

here's a pic of his tank :)

i LOVe him:) very cute boy!
love the tank too. some more java fern would be nice, or maybe a crypt.
happy new years
CHEERS

i dont wanna overcrowd the tank, i might add a couple more java fern, but he seems happy so i am happy :D he is watching me as we speed hehehe. friendly lil guy. though...he is not eating yet. i tried bloodworm and betta pellets, doesnt seem interested. I'm thinking maybe he is still getting used to the new environment?

I am indeed very jealous. Never seen one like that in a local shop myself.
