I’m currently on a budget (sadly) I have a 120ltr tank which will be heavily planted. Could any1 link me to a decent powerhead or know of anyone selling one?

I have a Hydor Korelia 2800 and they are very good and completly silent. I guess you would want the 1600 for your tank. Not the cheapest though so might break your budget...

IMO a 1600 is gonna be overkill for your tank. I ran a 750gph koralia evo in my 29g (your 120 liter tank is about 31 gallons), so i feel that a 750 should be far more then enough for what you need.

(nto sure where you are located) but here in the states they are fairly cheap, I obtained my 750gph for about $40 USD, which compared to some of the others out (like vortech and tunze) is fairly cheap for the good quality that koralia has.

I got my 750's for no more then $27 each. Just have to look around.

Thanks for the replies.

I've looked into the Hydor Koralia Evolution 750 but tbh in the uk can only seem to find one for £60 ($95.11) with P+P....

What about something like this, will this be enough? Meehhh hate being a noob to fish keeping haha.

I just got a filthy cheap one, not even sure of the make. got it from Swallow Aquatics for about a tenner, and it does the job.

I've never understood how these can cost so much money

Aquaristikshop.com - they have koralia at great prices (got a 1600 for about £25 I think)
