Could I Add Tiger Barbs Into A Cichlid Tank?

I was wondering, could I possibly add 8 or so Tiger Barbs into a tank currently containing a blue acara, keyhole cichlid, Parrot Fish, Gold Severum?

I'm guessing that as they are pretty small and quick, the slow swimming cichlids wouldn't be able to catch them.
