could chilli have fin rot**pics**

Sorry the pics aren't very good but the tips of his tail are white and see thru. you cant tell on this pic so i drew a line to show where his actual tail ends.

It just looks like his tail is healing and growing back to me. The fins will usually turn black or get ragged if there is a sign of finrot. I'd just keep a close eye on it and see if anything else changes. Has his behavior changed at all? Is he still eating? My guess is that his tail is just growing back and he looks very healthy to me.

thanks raechel, he is feeding fine and is really happy building bubble nest etc, and i have just serparated my tank and put my other betta inthere so he is wondering what the shadow is on the other side

Hehe. I remember putting two of my bettas in a divided 10 gallon. They would always seem to jump the divider and get to the other side. So I gave up on dividers.
