Hello,

A couple of my angels in my 45 gallon tank have a cottony fungus on them. I've treated the tank with Maroxy for 5 days (the limit according to the Maroxy bottle) and the fungus isn't going away.

Please tell me what I should do at this point. My silver is not looking so good now. It seems as if I cannot add any more medicine... What do I do? Just wait?

Please help!

I've never tried it because I have corries in my tank, but I have heard that salt can help treat fungus

You could remove the angel and do a 5 minute salt bath, one tablespoon to the gallon that's 5 litres.

melafix is a great cure for cotton wool fungus.
just follow the treatment guide and use the full seven day course.

Thank you, all

I'll try Melafix and salt. I actually tired Melafix for a few days (probably not 7 days, though) and the fungus didn't go away.

I will try a combo of Melafix and salt and see what happens.

Thanks again,
Cali
