I have 8 cories in my coldwater tank. It is true that they prefer cooler water but some prefer cooler than others, that's why I chose peppereds. I read on planet catfish as well as a few other places that they like 59-77F/15-25C and sonce my coldwater tank is 72F and my tropical 77F it stands to reason that they would be better off in my coldwater.
Some other cories were sort of border lione as to what's the lowest the liked so I decided against getting any that were 73F and up.
They have been in there about a month and seem very happy and active, it's also nice to have such a big group.
I think that would be totally fine for them. Does your tank have gravel or sand? Mine is gravel but will be getting changed to sand soon. Someone had a good idea to put something that can contain sand in the tank, like a little dish to make a cory sand box!BIGMAC said:Well yep i think it was yoursCheese Specialist said:*wonders if it was her signature*
