It's probably more a case of what's available in your lfs's ?

But why don't you check out Planet Catfish and look at all the C-numbers for pretty pictures and ideas

well, i went into lfs and bought 3 bronze cory, looks like they are settiling in fine!

I love my panda corys They're lovely little fish and very playful too.

Goodluck with your bronze corys, and maybe post pics some day? I'd love to see.

I think you will be happy with your bronze corys. I think they are usually the best ones to start out with because they are the "basic cory." If you look carefully, you will see that they have more colors to them than you thought at first, depending on how the light hits them. They should be quite active and might even spawn for you when they are mature.

i noticed the couler thing, they are green and orange and red and yellow and some strange coulers that i dont know what they are
i cant take any pics right now as my digital camera has run out of battery but mabye tommorow

Panda Cories are great looking cory cat, but Ive heard they are much harder to keep then other cories and get sick very easily. I cant even find them around here anywhere.

i realise this and will look after them as much as my other corys
and luckily my lfs have pandas stocked every other week (although they are gone in like 2 days )

I've found that C. pandas are a lot harder to get started with than any other cory I have, but once they are established, they do well.

If you have ever thought about setting up a single species tank, this is a great fish to do it with.

and i think i will stick with my gouramis and corys.
and i think i will have enough to buy a second hand 90g tank before christmas for them for just £160!
its on reserve unless someone offers more (wich they will ) so if i act fast...
but then.... comunity tank can go back in my 80g and i can leave the 50g for emergency although i was thinking about starting a shark tank...
