Hi!
I just noticed that my cycled tank has an ick outbreak. There are 2 corys, one betta and 10 neon tetras. By now, some of the neons and the betta have it.
I have Ick Out (Wardley) and Complete Remedy (Wardley) on stock.
I think I can not use Ick Out on corys or neon tetras because it contains malachite green what is harmful for them.
What to use on my tank? Complete Remedy? Change water? Other?
Help!

I used a brand name called Jungle and that seemed to work wonders. They are tablets that you drop into the water. Try that, it should be gone in 2 days or so. Raise the temp slowly as well. to about 28 celsius...do this slowly, only raising 2 degrees each day. If possible, add salt. These are all things that will help. Don't feed for 2 days or so. Good Luck!

Just put the temp up to 82 degrees F. Don't add salt, because salt kills corys. I don't use the chemicals to treat for ich, just is a waste of money and time. You have to take out your carbon filter cartrage put it in declorinated water untill you're ready tp put it back in teh filter. You have to put some man-made chemical compound in your water to kill off organisms in your water. I'm kinda a 'herbal" or "spiritual' healer person when it comes to fish. I just raise the temp and teh ich dies...
