My cherry shimp hang about at the bottom a lot, im now thinking of getting some corys, will these be ok with each other or will the corys eat the cherry shrimp?

thanks

I have 9 Cories in my tank with 5 Cherry Shrimp ... they get along great! they share the algae wafers I put in :D

i have over 70 corys and have no probs with them with any of my shrimpies
they might eat the occassional shrimplet but i've not seen it having any effect on the shrimp population

ok cheers people, that's really reassuring.

I was just wondering as cories are bottom feeders and I thought they may make a quick snack of my cherries :)

thanks again

i have peppered , trilineatus , venezuelanus , panda , blk shultzi , cw021 , sterbai ,delphax , habrosus , bronze and albino and pygmy corys and these are all fine with my cherry shrimp

today i bought 4 panda corys and am going to get 2 more next week to have 6. At least they grow to only 2 inches so i'm reassured that nothing will happen to my shimp :)

thanks

Will

keep an eye on the pandas hun and the water stats as pandas are one of the more fragile corys
good luck post some pics when they settle in
