I am looking for a few corys for my tank. It is 10 gallons and currently holds: 2 Dwarf Gouramis, 2 WC (hopefully getting more), and 3 ghost shrimp. I have seen Pandas, Emerald, albino, and a few others at LFS (very small mom and pop shop that actually cares!!!)
Do i need to worry about the Shrimp and Corys together??
I really like the Emeralds.... if anyone can tell me about them or point me to a good source that would be awesome. the pandas are adorable too. i specifically want to know size... the ones at the store are maybe 3/4 in long.... too cute!
I do plan on changing my current gravel to sand.... i think it looks better.

Thanks alot!

WC, stands for White Cloud Mountain Minnow, right? If so, you can't keep one with gouramis because of temperature differences.

As for the corys, I think emeralds would be too big, arent the Emerald ones actually "Brochis" genus corydoras? The brochis genus is bigger than the normal corys...Here are some good websites:

For a 10 gallon I would recommend one of the Dwarf Corydoras: Corydoras Pygmaeus, Corydoras Habrosus, Corydoras Hastasus

What are the common names of those and how easy are they to find? As for the white clouds, i have had alot of luck with them being in the big tank. Actually the pair has spawned... Gouramis ate the eggs unfortunately! I do plan on making a planted tank for them. They are much more active in the heated tank than they ever were in my non heated.

Albino/Bronze catfish or Julii would be good. they get too about 2/2.5 so i would get a small school of 3
