Corydroas Elegans

Hey I just wanted to know if anyone has tryed to breed elegans before and if they have I wouldn't mind advice on how to keep the trio happy and to raise the eggs. I bought a female and two males from some wild stock so they should be strong and I was interested in getting them to breed. So any advice on ideal pH, hardness, or temp would be appreciated.

I managed to get mine to spawn and hatch but couldn't raise the fry.

I kept them in a fairly small tank (around 16x8x8) though I had 2 females and one male.

They tended to spawn after cold water changes and I kept the temp a little low anyway (around the 22/23 mark).

The eggs were laid on plants, the gravel and the glass. However I was using an internal Fluval 1plus which I believe was the downfall of the fry. If you use a sponge filter you should be ok. I would also recommend removing the parents after spawning.
