A very nice person in Wellington, FL sent me two very nice, very large C. pulcher on Monday and they arrived Yesterday, safe and sound. They were packaged very well, in a doubled plastic bag surrounded by newpaper and a small styrofoam cooler, which was packed into a nice box. They are currently in my 36g frolicking with my Brochis splendens. They are really large fish, bigger than some of my Brochis, and extremely lovely. The high first dorsal ray is particularly striking. The vendor will send me more when they get a new shipment. I'd like 5.

I will post pictures later. This tank really, really needs moonlights. Thank you for letting me share. :)

Alright, hold your horses. It's not easy taking pictures of new catfish. I've got only one shot right now. They either move a lot, which is great for them, bad for the camera, or they lie perfectly still, which is great for the camera; except that they are absolutely still behind a plant.

All in all, a really nice fish. I really didn't expect them to be this large.

looks cool, they always remind me of little zoidbergs outta futurama :)
