Corydoras eggs

I'm not convinced these corydoras eggs are fertilised despite having male and female in the tank. The eggs first appeared 4days ago and I just transferred to the breeding tank as soon as I could.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Do you have nerite snails? They look like nerite eggs, which won't develop.

Corydoras eggs are mostly translucent but "can" become white. But I also have doubts that they are corydoras eggs. As Gary has also assumed, they could be nerite snail eggs as well.

Also noticed today all remaining eggs on sides of main tank have been eaten by fish.

Every now and then I get a clump of eggs somewhere in my tank, and they get eaten. I don't think I've ever seen them and thought they were fertilized (sometimes they were clear, other times they looked white), at any rate, I also never took the time to scrape them and try to have them hatch.

They do not look at all like nerite egg masses, which are flat, with a more or less circular outline.

Nerites, unlike apples, don't produce egg masses. But if the OP doesn't have snails, that's sorted. They would be unfertilized eggs at that colour.

I misspoke with 'masses', even though I knew that; should have just said eggs. Regardless of the presence/absence of snails of any type in the tank, those never looked like nerite eggs. It is all good, I don't know everything.

On second thought, the appropriate term should have been egg capsules (since each capsule is individual, separate from other capsules). But each capsule does contain multiple eggs.

I had this one nerite snail who made mosaics out of her eggs...
they don;t look like nerite eggs, the nerite eggs i have are either smaller or more oval.
What other fish do you have?

In the meantime...as the eggs are now "protected" they won't get eaten and should hatch. I would find some dried leaves, you can collect hardwood tree leaves that have fallen to the ground, oak, maple, beech, etc., from a safe place (no pesticides, etc) and lay them out to fully dry after a rinse in warm water. Then add a bunch to this fry holding pen. The leaves will sink in a few days and tons of infusoria will be produced and this is the absolute best food for any fry. You can also buy Indian almond leaves in some fish stores.

You can consider higher fry foods once you know that these are, and if you want them. But the leaves will get whatever fish started off on a very healthy life.

Thanks for all your responses.
I let the tank run down with regard fish stock to give everything a good clean. All that are left at present are the Cory's and a few danios. I will keep the eggs in the separate tank for a few more days to see if anything changes. I would like to restock very soon, but don't want to disturb the tank if babies are on the way.
