Wierd thing happened today. One of my cories (adolfi) was swimming around quite normally, then shot up from the substrate to the top of the tank, then shot back down again. Half way down it stopped swimming and just flipped on its back, getting carried down by the current. It landed on the substrate upside down and didn't move. So I figured that was it, game over for the cory. Put my hand up against the glass right where it was, tapped a couple of times, no movement. Tried again after a few mins, still nothing.
So I went to get a net and a bag, came back to the tank and the cory is in the same place, but magically sitting on the bottom the right way up. Ohhh-kay, maybe it was the current or another fish that flipped it. So I get the net in the tank, go down to fish him out and he magically comes alive and swims off. He seems fine now, swimming around, gills working normally etc...
Wtf? Anyone else had this happen? He looks fine physically, the other cories and fish are fine, tank params are fine and the temp isn't too high (25c).
