Cory with wound on head

One of my pepper cories has a wound on his head. He has been acting listless lately too not spending time with the other cories and hasn't been too interested in eating. He's become quite thin compared to the others

I'm not sure what the problem is...

He's probably gone thin through not eating, if you can issolate him and with the wound on his head try an anti internal bacteria med, as you no when a fish stops eating it isn't a good sign i'm afraid.

Can you describe the wound a little more?

Does it look like a cut or an abrasion? Is there fungus growing on it? How do his fins, barbells and tail look?

Well sadly I woke up to find him dead

The wound was like a scrape...no fungus growing on it. It was clean looking with just a little red. Maybe he got himself caught somewhere. I do have pieces of wood in the tank that he could of scraped himself on

His fins, barbells and tail all looked good ..just like my other corys. The 2 other peppers I bought when I bought him are all nice a plump and have grown quite a bit since I got them. I just hope it was something genetic with him. Everyone else is doing great
