cory with gravid spot

I dont know much about how corys breed but I have 3 in my community tank and one of the albinos has a very big gravid spot. I'm guessing this means its a she and shes pregnant. Are corys egg layers or livebearers? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I honestly have no idea.

egglayers. i think they lay their eggs on the glass. you want to talk to Inchworm, she's the cory breeding expert!

Corys are egg layers and do not show a gravid spot, nor do they become pregnant. When female corys are ready to spawn they will appear to be plumper around the belly.
