I turned on my tank lights this morning and found my oldest (I've had him about a year) Pepper Cory upside-down. He's still alive, but breathing very heavily and obviously in distress. I tried turning him upright and he sat like that for a little bit, but then tried to swim off again, so he's back upside down. He really can't "swim" - just moves around a little. I don't see any red spots, ulcers, or anything like that. He looked fine last night. All other fish in the tank look good. I did a water change last night (yep, I remembered to add de-chlor). Tank is currently being treated for Ich with CopperSafe (half to three-quarters dose, though). Temp is about 80*. I'm guessing it's a swim bladder problem, but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice/suggestions. If you have 'em, feel free to share.

Thanks.

Hmmm...

Well, he seems to be doing okay now. He was upside-down for awhile, then he was swimming on his side, then I checked him later and he was swimming right-side-up -_- He seems okay, last I looked at him, other than maybe breathing a little fast. I thought he'd be dead by now, but nope...tough little fishy, he is :flex: I love my Corys!

Edit: Just fed the fishies their evening meal. He hasn't come out to eat, but he's still upright. Breathing a little fast/heavy though. We shall see... -_-

I really don't know that much about Cories, but I'm pulling for you and him/her. I hope he/she ends up A-Ok!!
