hi stiffler69

move the eggs the pairents will eat them as for the bristlenoses
the eggs will be very sticky and easly damadged so be carefull
all i do is put them into a container floating in my tank with an airstone dangling in it :good:

Hi thanks for the info if i get a floating trap will this be good enough thanks

the eggs will take 3-5 days to hatch depending on what speicies you have
you dont have to feed them for the first 24 hours as they feed of the egg york .
then you can feed them bbs.microw worms is best but if you carnt get non. i just feed mine HICARI first bites.and
liqifry no 1 for egg layers for the first week then after that i crush kingbritish pellets up with a rolling pin and flake into a powder and feed them that till there just over 2 weeks then give them frozen dafnia and and blood worms plust the flake
and dapnia untill there about 4 months old then feed them what the pairents eat.

hygine is a must so take out any uneated foods and do water changes daily and keep the container clean as ther prone to
bactira infections .i move mine to a growing on tank after 1 week old with no substrate and a sponge filter with an ire stone
hope this helps :good:

breading trap is no good as they will just go through the holes some peple use a breeding net but an old iceream tub works great for me about 8-10inch long and 8inch deep :good:

Ok thanks for the info ive got them in a trap but i can put a net under them when they come to hatch

Just out of curiousity how much is a spawning trio of albino corys worth?

I never intended on breeding these or them even spawning so would be interested what these could fetch if i was unsucessful in raising any fry from them

Maybe a quid or two more than their normal selling price.
A group of Bronze or Albino corys will usually spawn in the home aqaurium with little or no intervention from the fishkeeper.
