looking to find out what albino corys would be worth to lfs and then how can i get micro worms started or do i need to buy and then keep them going? feed back would be helpful also i am looking for a lid with floresent light to go on a 29 gal trying to put a 29 gal together for breeding

well, i doubt they will buy corys off you, because they get them for less than 10 cents each. lets say you sell 15 corys to them, you will get a dollar. do you think that is worth all the effort?

Hi jammerone34 :)

The price you sell your young fish for is determined by the price your lfs sells them for, their age etc. It is somewhat negotiable, but since albinos are not expensive fish to begin with, you can figure between $1 and $1.50 each.

There is not a lot of profit to be made, but by selling them, you can subsidize the cost of what could otherwise be an expensive hobby. I suggest that you establish good relations with an independent lfs well in advance of the time you sell them. If you are willing to take store credit instead of cash, you will usually get a higher price for them.

Here is a link to a thread that has a lot of information about microworms:

JoKer sells microworms and you can contact him by pm.
