One of my corys has started going up and down in the bubbles. Just like Philip, my south american puffer does. Is he playing? or something more sinister...? He's been doing it all morning. My whiptail used to do this when he was younger, but he doesn't anymore, he's mellowed a bit!

Coolio (the whiptail)'s whip has been growing and growing and is now about two inches long! Does this indicate Coolio is happy? *hope so*

Don't worry about your cory....loads of fish love to play in bubbles/currents and if it was troubling him at all he would stop  .

No idea about the whiptail, sorry :/ .

Yep, corys are really playful, particularly the younger corys. When they get full grown they seem to be too big to get their ass' off the ground except to go for air. Mine and particularly my sons pandas are all ove the tank swimming really high and not for air, just up and down over and over, just like the khuli loaches in a wierd way.
