my cory mama just layed eggs, iv got them in very warm water in a 1g with conditioner and blue meth, water temp is at a constant 80 degrees. how long does it take them to hatch?

will do, and for a littel more info they are bronze corys and i didn't spawn them, it just kind happend :D not teh first time thogh ;)

to breed fish means that younhave accomplished making these fish feel at home.
so they are comfortable to breed.
good luck with the little cories(i meant dont feed the fry for 48 hrs just to make it clear) ;)

Hi GuppyDude :)

Congratulations on the eggs. You should have fry in about 4 days, but with the water as warm as you have it, they might hatch sooner. You could turn it down a few degrees and they will be just fine since C. aeneus don't need high temperatures.

I would start giving them a little bit of Liquifry or something similar after the first 24 hours or so. It's important to change some of the water every day, and it will help if you can get them into a larger tank as soon as possible.

Have you thought about what you will be doing with them?

yes i have, iv got mw im going to feed them and untill they are big enogh im going to ahve them in a 1g bowl, then ill prolly move them to my guppy fry tank, after they are old enogh i suppose i will give them to the lfs unless someone on the forum wants them then id be glad to give them away.

im expecting th cory eggs to hatch soon, when can i teel that they are about to open? what do the littel corys look like?

ok problem, its been 4 days maybe 5 im not sure an dthey haven't hatched, theres no fungus on them, the water doesn't smell and i can see 2 little black eyes in each egg, y is it takeing longer than expected?
